UN arranges global travel fellowship on polio elimination
Deadline is Jan. 1, 2024
Interested journalists can apply for a fully-funded press tour focused on global health challenges.
Applications for a journalistic fellowship with a focus on polio eradication are being accepted by the United Nations Foundation.
Selected fellows will get money to visit a nation leading the fight against polio and take part in an online training session. Reporters who are interested in visiting the following high-priority nations will be given preference: Nigeria, Mozambique, Pakistan, Somalia, Yemen, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
All national journalists are welcome to apply. A maximum of US$10,000 will be awarded to the six fellows who are chosen, to cover the expense of reporting.
