Job Description:
Security and Fleet Operations:
- Provide technical leadership/support in managing critical incidents.
- Ensure CRRs and SRAs are regularly developed and reviewed.
- Advice and lead implementation of mitigation measures in alignment with CSR.
- Develop Business continuity and contingency plan for the office.
- Lead CIV-MIL development/support/oversight.
- Risk reduction to serious transportation accidents.
- Security briefings (update, visitors, and new staff).
- Work cross-functionally with other departments for the effective operation of fleet.
- Monitor, oversee and provide direction to fleet staff to achieve key strategic growth initiatives
- Update and provide fleet data analysis, and advise leadership in order to increase business operational efficiency.
- Lead in organizing fleets and fleet operational staff to provide support and schedule events/trip planning.
Networking and External Liaison/Engagement:
- Represent WV at local security and logistics network meetings and ensure information from these groups is disseminated to relevant staff.
- Build ongoing networks for sharing security information and coordination.
Capacity Building and Technical Training:
- Advise, lead and coordinate security and fleet capacity building plan (training, ToT, SRMT, needs analysis etc) based on identified
- Lead Training and develop local security teams
- Plan and coordinate fleet trainings for fleet staff
Knowledge Management:
- Lead process of best practice learning & implementation.
- Advice leadership based on security analysis (emerging security needs and solutions in changing context).
- Lead Macro view of security context and actor (armed/non armed) mapping
Quality Assurance:
- Review/ensure CSR maximizes safety of staff and assets.
- Security standards are in accordance with security risk rating.
- Review and ensure security strategy appropriate.
- Ensure the placement of an efficient and cost-effective preventive maintenance schedule
- Monitor and ensure fleet operation in compliance with local and state rules and regulations.
Internal liaison & coordination:
- Link between National Office and OCS
- Work with various WVB office entities to ensure they are aware of potential security issues
Participate in National Office/Regional/Partnership forums
Reporting and Documentation:
- Provide a regular security report to the National Office, Region and Office of Corporate Security.
- Ensure that all security incidents are reported in accordance with WV Security Policy.
- Conduct performance reviews of the field-based security staff and fleet.
- Develop and provide monthly fleet (fuel management, repairs and maintenance reports, etc..) report to SLT
- Collect, analyze and disseminate security information appropriately
Staff performance management:
- Provide leadership/ management of the security, fleet staff and administration in country.
- Conduct staff appraisals and monitor performance through mentoring, coaching and empowerment
- Supporting the personal and professional development of individuals to enhance their performance
- Ensure staff go on leave
