The driver will be in charge of the PlayMatters Regional staff and materials’ safe transportation as well as the upkeep and repair of the designated vehicles and their accessories.Every day, assess and document the vehicles’ condition; create a weekly maintenance schedule.
Make sure that the regional office cars of PlayMatters are serviced and maintained on time. Fill out service request forms and keep track of service maintenance, and report any mechanical issues to the supply chain officer.
Make sure that all legal paperwork is up to date and that cars are insured. Notify the PlayMatters Supply chain Officer three weeks before any necessary renewals of insurance, licenses, or other documentation are due.
Worksheets can be used to track, balance, and report gasoline use over time.
Make daily evaluations of the security and road conditions.
Transport regional PlayMatters project workers to field locations across the nation in a polite and safe manner.
Deliver messages and mail as instructed.
Use any mobile radio device that is HF or VHF.
Make sure PlayMatters Regional office cars are kept spotless on the inside and outside.
Provide a precise reconciliation of the money spent during the allotted time.
Respect IRC fleet policy and operating protocols (e.g., using a logbook, abstaining from alcohol when operating a vehicle, signing out a vehicle on the vehicle registration, etc.).
Help the PlayMatters Admin Officer or programs load supplies for the field.
