Grants and Partnership Coordinator need in Burundi

Main responsibilities

Business development
• Research and maintain information on donor strategies and funding opportunities at the national level, in collaboration with the Program Coordinators and in coordination with the Senior/Program Development Advisor (S/PDA) and the Director of grant management.
• With the leadership of the DDP, coordinate the development of proposals for submission to donors in coordination with sector leads and finance and operations teams, ensuring full partner participation in program design as appropriate ; Contribute to budget development/management in coordination with Finance through budget review to ensure budget aligns with proposed intervention and correct costs are included.
• Assist the DDP to align new proposals with the country’s Strategic Action Plan (SAP).
• Works closely with the global business development and regional program support teams of the IRC Awards Management Unit to ensure proposals meet internal standards and funder standards
• Coordinate communications with current donors, including responding to inquiries, revenue tracking, contract amendments from donors or other IRC departments in consultation with the DDP and the country director
• Participate in Go/No-Go discussions to promote approaches and program design in line with Burundi’s Strategic Action Plan (SAP)
• Make regular visits to program sites, to become familiar with the program as a basis for informed proposal development and discussions/contacts with funders.
